ACOLHIMENTO E HUMANIZAÇÃO NO ATENDIMENTO ODONTOLÓGICO: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA

RESUMO

A humanização, o acolhimento e o investimento no bem-estar do paciente vêm sendo objeto de grande interesse a ponto do Ministério da Saúde elencar a humanização dos serviços de saúde como um de seus programas prioritários. Os conceitos de acolhimento e bem estar são essenciais e indissociáveis para a promoção de saúde bucal, pois envolvem humanização e qualidade no atendimento. Este artigo tem como objetivo entender o impacto do acolhimento e a humanização no atendimento odontológico, destacando as principais práticas, desafios e benefícios associados a essa abordagem, com foco na construção do cuidado humanizado. Trata-se de uma revisão de integrativa, fundamental para entender o estado atual do conhecimento sobre o tema e identificar lacunas que podem ser preenchidas por futuras pesquisas.

ABSTRACT

Humanization, reception and investment in patient well-being have been the subject of great interest to the point that the Ministry of Health lists the humanization of health services as one of its priority programs. The concepts of welcoming and well-being are essential and inseparable for the promotion of oral health, as they involve humanization and quality of care. This article aims to review the literature on welcoming and humanization in dental care, highlighting the main practices, challenges and benefits associated with this approach, with a focus on building humanized care. The literature review is essential to understand the current state of knowledge on the topic and identify gaps that can be filled by future research.
